Construction Starts Summer 2026
Thanks to three grants from New York State. The Village of Millerton will build a short-course Olympic pool and pool house. With permitting underway, construction is expected to begin in Summer 2026 with the pool opening in 2027.

What’s Next?
To protect this once in a generation project, the Park Committee is raising a $2 million endowment. This is a Forever Fund, invested permanently with Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, whose earnings are solely dedicated to support the Village of Millerton’s expenses to operate, maintain, and make repairs to Eddie Collins Memorial Park.
Annual earnings will cover:
Park landscaping, operations, maintenance and repairs
Lifeguard and Recreation Director salaries
Pool maintenance and park utilities
